Elmor Judson Turner died as a rresult of a fall on ice. He weas born in Ohio in 1836. He married Matilda Logan in 1860, They had five chidren: Mrs. Alice Pollaard of Sedgwick, Ella died at age 12 years, William C. died in 1908, Guy E.. of Kansas City and Roy E., Bingham Canyon, Utan.
He enlisted in 1862 to Ohio Volunteers Co. E, 118th Regt. He moved to Sarinac, Michigan and became a charter member of the Congregational Church. They moved to Sedgwick in 1877. He has grown old in the service of this God and his country.
