Jennie Krehbiel Labbe
WICHITA -- Jennie Krehbiel Labbe, 67,
of Wichita, employee at City of Wichita in the accounting department
for 22 and a half years and former employee of Boeing Co., died
Monday (June 14, 1999) at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St.
Francis Campus.
She was born May 15, 1932, in Newton to
Lee M. and Katie (Stucky) Krehbiel. She married L. Duane Labbe May
31, 1958, in Wichita. He survives of Wichita.
She was a Wichita resident for 49
years, moving from Moundridge.
Other survivors include: three sisters,
Nelle J. Eastham of Huntsville, Texas, Ellen Story of Guymon, Okla.,
and Judy K. Goering of Moundridge. She was preceded in death by her
parents; five brothers, Nelson Krehbiel, Lennis Krehbiel, Dennis
Krehbiel, Eugene Krehbiel and Jackie Krehbiel; and four sisters,
Marilyn Waner, Evelyn Krehbiel, Maxine Unruh and Francis Krehbiel.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Thursday at Eden Mennonite Church in rural Moundridge with Pastor Lee
Lever officiating. Burial will be in the Mound Township Cemetery in
Moundridge.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m.
Wednesday at Moundridge Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with
American Heart Association or National Kidney Foundation in care of
the funeral home.
