Linda M. Thiessen
Linda M. Thiessen, 54, 523 S. Walnut,
machinist for Hay and Forage for 15 years, died Tuesday (July 20,
1999) at her home in Newton.
She was born Feb. 27, 1945, in Hampton,
Iowa, to Dale and Mabel (Diemer) Price.
She enjoyed fishing, knitting, yard
work and flowers.
Survivors include: one son, Randy
DeVries of Hampton, Iowa; one daughter, Rhonda Westendorf of Hampton,
Iowa; companion, Loni Brown of Newton; and two sisters, Patricia
DeVries and Kathryn Yaw, both of Hampton, Iowa. She was preceded in
death by her parents.
There will be no services. Memorial
book signing will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Petersen Funeral
Home.
Memorials have been established with
donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
