Betty Jean Coy
Betty Jean Coy, 69, 405 S.W. Third,
died Wednesday (Aug. 4, 1999) at Newton Medical Center.
She was born May 24, 1930, in Newton to
V.V. and Lillie (Morrison) Coy.
She was a member of Columbus Avenue
Church of Christ in Newton. She was a lifetime Newton resident.
Survivors include: one brother, William
D. Coy of Everett, Wash.; and a nephew, Ron Robinson of Newton. She
was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dorine Robinson;
and one brother, Guy Coy.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m.
Friday at Columbus Avenue Church of Christ with Lewis E. Tandy
officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today
at Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with
Maude Carpenter's Children's Home in care of the funeral home.
