Markle John DeMezza
Markle John DeMezza, 78, 706 W. 12th,
died Monday (Aug. 16, 1999) at his residence in Newton.
He was born Sept. 13, 1920, in
Kifertown, Pa., to Vincent J. and Elizabeth Jane (Passaro) DeMezza.
He married D. Charmaine McKee Aug. 14, 1951, in Wichita. She survives
of Newton.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic
Church in Newton, Alpha Omega Geographers and Phi Sigma Pi
Fraternity.
Other survivors include: two daughters,
Julia Marie DeMezza and Linda Rose DeMezza, both of Newton; and two
sisters, Rose Marie Blackman of Independence and Leonora DeMezza of
Davisburg, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rosary service will be at 7 p.m.
Thursday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at
11 a.m. Friday also at the funeral home chapel with the Father Ken
Schuckman from St. Mary's Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be
in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with Central Homecare and Hospice or
Multiple Sclerosis Society in care of the funeral home.
