Nedward (Ned) S. Heidner
JOPLIN, Mo. -- Nedward (Ned) S.
Heidner, 27, died Monday (Aug. 23, 1999) at his home in Joplin, Mo.
He was born March 23, 1972, in Newton
to Loren and Janis Heidner.
He attended Walton Grade School, Berean
Academy and was a 1990 graduate of Newton High School. While in high
school, he worked at The Walton Cafe and The Old Mill. He moved to
Joplin, Mo., August 1990, where he attended Ozark Christian College.
He was involved in different activities while at college. His main
work was The Living Christmas Tree, where he helped with programming
of the lights for the tree. He also did other things for the college
with lights and sound.
He was active in Boy Scouts in Carl
Junction, Mo. He was employed for a short time with Pizza Hut in Webb
City, and Boston Market and Pillsbury, both in Joplin.
Survivors include: mother, Janis
Buschman of Joplin, Mo.; father and step-mother, Loren and Marian
Heidner of Newton; one brother, Tim Heidner of Joplin, Mo.; paternal
grandparent, Ruth Heidner of Wolf Point, Mont.; and a host of
relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m.
Thursday at College Heights Christian Church in Joplin. Burial will
be in the Osborne Memorial in Joplin.
