Opal W. Regier
Opal W. Regier, 84, of Newton, retired
bank clerk and homemaker, died Wednesday (Aug. 25, 1999) in Newton.
She was born Oct. 26, 1914, in Vian,
Okla., to Julius and Victoria Johnson. She married Arthur W. Regier
Oct. 27, 1956, at Emmaus Mennonite Church in Whitewater. He survives
of the home.
There were no other immediate
survivors.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Monday at Emmaus Mennonite Church in Whitewater with Pastors Rodney
Crowell and Rob Morrow officiating. Burial will be in the Emmaus
Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday and 2 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday with family greeting friends from
7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Bob Lamb Funeral Home Chapel in Whitewater.
Memorials have been established with
Gideons International and Kansas Christian Home in care of the
funeral home.
