Hugh Skelton
Hugh Skelton, 100, of 200 S.W. 14th, a
World War I veteran, died Friday (Aug. 27, 1999) at Friendly Acres
Retirement Community in Newton.
He was born Oct. 26, 1898, to Frank and
Harriet Skelton.
Survivors include a sister, Lillie Rice
of Tulsa, Okla., and a niece, Reatha McGaugh of Newton.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at
Greenwood Cemetery with Chaplain Pam Martinez officiating.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m.
Saturday at Petersen Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to
Friendly Acres.
