Carl Lee McCoy Jr.

Carl Lee McCoy Jr., 67, of Newton, retired furniture store owner and auctioneer, died Sunday (Aug. 29, 1999) at Columbia Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

He was born Oct. 8, 1931, in Enid, Okla., to Carl L. Sr. and Dorothy Beth (Parker) McCoy. His mother survives of Hutchinson. He married Twila Wenzel. She survives of Newton.

Other survivors include: one son, Dan W. McCoy of Prairie Village; six daughters, Kathy R. Shoup and Connie M. Seigler, both of Douglass, Mary L. Manton of Lincoln, Neb., Kellie B. Kemper of Prescott, Ariz., Linda A.J. Albright of Rose Hill and Renee M. Dreiling of Wichita; two sisters, Donna Young and Frances Greene, both of Hutchinson; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hillside Funeral Home West Chapel in Wichita.
