Anna F. Reimer Classen Jantz
HESSTON -- Anna F. Reimer Classen
Jantz, 78, of Hesston, died Saturday (Sept. 18, 1999) at Newton
Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 19, 1921, in Meade to
John J. and Mary J. (Friesen) Reimer. She married Henry R. C. Classen
Oct. 1, 1939. He preceded her in death Sept. 26, 1976. She later
married Clyde Jantz Aug. 3, 1985. He also preceded her in death Oct.
22, 1998.
She was a resident of Schowalter Villa
Assisted Living and a member of Hesston Mennonite Church, both of
Hesston.
Survivors include: four daughters,
Irene Armstrong of Wichita, Ruth Ebersole of Hutchinson, Anna Joy
Troyer of Hesston and Wilma Miller of Mt. Joy, Pa.; two
step-daughters, Clydene Gingerich of Seoul, Korea and Lou Ann
Eichelberger of Hesston; one step-son, Darrell Jantz of Duncan,
Okla.; five sisters, Mary Isaac, Elizabeth Isaac and Kathryn Friesen,
all of Meade, Sara Classen of Hesston, and Eve Rempel of Hutchinson;
eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; six
step-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren. She also was
preceded in death by one brother, John Reimer; and one sister,
Agnes Classen.
Visitation with family will be from 4
to 8 p.m. today at Hesston Mennonite Church Fellowship Hall.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Tuesday at Hesston Mennonite Church with John Murray officiating.
Interment will be in the Eastlawn Cemetery in Zimmerdale.
Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at
the church preceding the funeral service.
