John Leroy Stark
WICHITA -- John Leroy Stark, 75, of
Wichita, father of Steve Stark of Walton, died Friday (Oct. 1, 1999)
in Wichita.
He was born May 27, 1924, in Dexter to
Merle and Lola Martin Stark. He married Frances Wheatley Feb. 27,
1953, in Texas. She survives of Wichita.
Other survivors include: two sons, John
and Timothy of Wichita; four daughters, Betty Roths and Pamela
Settleo of Wichita and Sharon Garcia of Shorewood, Minn.; 15
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at
Smith Mortuary in Haysville with the Rev. Paul Seward officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
The family suggests memorials to the
American Diabetes Association.
