Bryan James Malin, 44, Newton, passed away after a lengthy illiness on Aprl 7, 2014 at Via Christi Hospital in Wichita. He was born December 14, 1969 in Wichita, son of Ralph and Carole Malin of Newton. He was a 1989 graduate of Newton High School where he ws a letterman in band. Aafter graduation, he joined the Navy and was a member of the Sea-Bees. He served his country proudly and was deployed in Iraq during Desert Storm. He married his beloved wife on October 24, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alan and Helen Lee of Wichita and Horace and Elnora Malin of Liberal.
Survivors: wife, June of the home; parents of Newton; brother and sister--in-law, Brent Malin and Jessie Beckett-McWalter of Pittsburg, Paennsylvania. Memorial services will be April 17 at Trinity Heights Methodist Church in Newton. Inurnment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery with Military Honors.
