Mary M. Kyburz
HONEY BROOK, Pa. -- Mary M. Kyburz, 77,
co-founder of Art's and Mary's Tater Chip Co. in Wichita and Walton,
formerly of Coatesville, Pa., died Sunday (Oct. 3, 1999) at her home.
She was born in Myersdale, Pa., to
Frederick and Ida Belle (Dahl) Raymond. She married Francis J. Kerr.
He preceded her in death in 1972. She married Arthur L. Kyburz. He
survives.
She was a 1940 graduate of Myersdale
High School and a graduate cadet of Alegany Hospital in Cumberland,
Md. She moved to Coatesville in 1952, where she retired from
Coatesville VA Medical Center and was employed for 29 years as a
registered nurse.
In 1984 she and her husband moved to
Kansas, where they owned and operated Art's and Mary's Tater Chip Co.
In 1997 they returned to Chester County and moved to Honey Brook, Pa.
She attended Wyebrook Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling and
ceramics.
Other survivors include: two sons,
Frederick H. Kerr of Coatesville, Pa., and Edward J. Kerr of East
Fallowfield, Pa.; one daughter, Karen A. Moreno of Coatesville, Pa.;
one brother, Joseph E. Raymond of Myersdale, Pa.; one sister, Margie
Hewczuk of East Fallowfield, Pa.; two stepsons; two step-daughters;
five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three
step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m.
Friday at Wentz Funeral Home in Coatesville. Burial will be in the
Vincent Baptist Cemetery in Chester Springs, Pa. Friends may call
from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral
home.
