Jennifer L. Helmer
MARION -- Jennifer L. Helmer, 17, of
Marion, died Friday (Oct. 8, 1999) at Wesley Medical Center in
Wichita from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near
Peabody.
She was born Sept. 22, 1982, in Newton
to Darrel and Marsha Helmer. Her father survives. Her mother died at
the scene of the same accident.
She was a student at Marion High
School. She was a member of Strassburg Baptist Church in rural
Marion.
Other survivors include three brothers,
Aaron D. Helmer, Ray Allan Helmer and Paul Scott Helmer, all of
Marion.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at
Marion Christian Church with Pastor Don Mashburn presiding over the
double service for her and her mother. Burial will be in the Marion
Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at
Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.
