Ralph T. Iserhardt
PARSONS -- Ralph T. Iserhardt, 82, of
Parsons, former Coffeyville area resident, died Friday (Oct. 15,
1999) at Labette County Medical Center in Parsons.
He was born born Feb. 21, 1917, in
Newton to Frederick William and Mary (Nellisson) Iserhardt. He
married Leona. She preceded him in death.
He attended rural schools in the Newton
area. Following his schooling he farmed. In 1942, he entered the U.S.
Army, where he served during World War II and was discharged in 1943.
He returned to the Newton area after being discharged. In the late
1970s, he moved to Coffeyville area, where he farmed. In 1998, he
moved to Parsons.
Survivors include: two sons, Kermit
Iserhardt of Newton and Steven Iserhardt of Council Bluffs, Iowa; two
daughters, Maribeth Dirksen and Frances Brown, both of Newton; one
sister, Ethel Stahl of Sedgwick; 10 grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by one brother,
Ernest Iserhardt; and one sister, Paula Iserhardt.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m.
Tuesday at Robbins Cemetery west of Coffeyville. Friends may call
until 9 p.m. today and 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ford-Wulf-Bruns
Edgewood Chapel in Coffeyville.
