Patricia Louise Bowles
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Patricia Louise
Bowles, 70, died Sunday (Oct. 17, 1999) at her home in Portland, Ore.
She was born Dec. 3, 1928, in Newton to
George and Ruth Edwards. Her mother survives of Portland, Ore. She
married Raymond Boles. He survives of Portland.
She grew up in Newton and was a 1945
graduate of Newton High School. She was a teacher at Montessori
School from 1963 to 1968. She was a business owner and sales
representative for her company, Ray Bowles Sales, from 1975 to 1998.
She was a avid gardner and gourmet cook.
Other survivors include: three
daughters, Vicki Turra of Sandy, Ore., Rosanna Bowles of Seattle,
Wash., and Cynthia Bowles-Gilbert of Portland, Ore.; one brother,
Frank Edwards of Portland, Ore.; six grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father; and one
brother, Jerry Edwards.
Recitation of Rosary will be 8 p.m.
today at Pegg, Paxson and Springer Chapel in Beaverton, Ore. Mass of
Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Cecilia Catholic
Church in Beaverton with the Rev. Scott Vandehey officiating.
Committal and interment will follow the Mass in the Mt. Calvary
Cemetery.
