Burt G. Jewett
MARION -- Burt G. Jewett, 79, of
Marion, farmer and retired McPherson County Highway Department road
forman, died Sunday (Oct. 17, 1999) at Newton Medical Center.
He was born June 23, 1920, in Marion to
E. A. and Lottie (Cope) Jewett. He married Evelyn Corey June 6, 1942,
in Lincolnville. She survives.
Other survivors include: one daughter,
Janie Westerman of Fayetville, Ga.; two sisters, Eudora Christner of
Burdick and Mary Johnson of Hominy, Okla.; three grandchildren; and
one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Judy
Jewett Paoli.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion with Pastor Larry King
officiating. Burial will be in the Grant Township Cemetery. Friends
may call until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials have been established with
Central Homecare and Hospice in care of the funeral home.
