Reta M. Rossiter
Reta M. Rossiter, 78, 200 S.W. 14th,
died Tuesday (Oct. 19, 1999) at Newton Medical Center.
She was born May 19, 1921, in Newton to
Kean Curtis and Hazel (Rickman) Rossiter.
She was a member of Hall's Chapel AME
Church in Newton.
Survivors include: one son, Curtis E.
Rossiter of Newton; one brother, Guy Rossiter of Newton; one sister,
June S. Thaw of Newton; eight grandchildren; and 11
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one
brother and seven sisters.
There will be no services. Burial will
be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
Memorials have been established with
Central Homecare and Hospice in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
