Joseph Daniel McGee Sr.
BURRTON -- Joseph Daniel McGee Sr., 65,
of Burrton, retired truck driver for Ramage Trucking in Little River,
died Wednesday (Oct. 20, 1999) at Veterans Administration Hospital in
Wichita.
He was born Feb. 15, 1934, in Riviera
Beach, Fla., to Frank Paul and Martha Clara (Brawn) McGee. He married
Eva May Foster Oct. 31, 1956, in Ponca City, Okla. She survives of
the home.
He attended Burrton Bible Church and
was a member of American Legion Post No. 196, both of Burrton.
Other survivors include: three sons,
Joseph McGee Jr. of Burrton, Keith McGee of Newton and David Millison
of Dallas; three daughters, Carmen Miller and Marsha Kaegi, both of
Burrton and Doris Rucker of Newton; one brother, Frank McGee of
Leavenworth; three sisters, Catherine Kyle of Lexington, N.C.,
Theresa Weeks of Okeechobee, Fla., and Evarene Sorenson of
Hutchinson; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one
brother, Paul Douglas McGee.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m.
Saturday at Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead with Pastor Bill
Stiebens officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m.
Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials have been established with
the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
