Orvis O'Dell
FLORENCE -- Orvis O'Dell, 90, of
Florence, retired farmer, died Wednesday (Oct. 27, 1999) at Newton
Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 25, 1909, in Sedgwick
to Thomas W. and Sara M. O'Dell. He married Thelma Barlow Dec. 24,
1932, in Garden City. She survives of Florence.
He lived in Cedar Point community for
many years, moving to Florence in 1974.
Other survivors include: two sons,
Delano O'Dell and Delvin O'Dell, both of Florence; one daughter, Dee
Nuessen of El Dorado; one sister, Lola Biggs of Bentley; 10
grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be 2
p.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence with the Rev. Larry
Timm officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today
at Zeiner Funeral Home in Florence.

Florence Ambulance Service in care of the funeral home.
