Larry Summerville
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Larry Summerville,
58, formerly of Newton, died Wednesday (Oct. 27, 1999).
He was born Nov. 8, 1940, in Kansas, to
Lawrence Preston and Ruth (Fick) Summerville. He married Nedra
Summerville. She survives of Albuquerque, N.M.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday
at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Alden Dick from First
Baptist Church in Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood
Cemetery in Newton.
Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m.
Sunday at the funeral home.

Larry Sommerville
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Larry Sommerville,
58, formerly of Newton, railroad engineer for Santa Fe Railroad and
road foreman for Amtrack, died Wednesday (Oct. 27, 1999).
He was born Nov. 8, 1940, in Wichita,
to Lawrence Preston Sommerville and Ruth (Fick) Ayers. He married
Nedra Mitchell. She survives of Albuquerque, N.M.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge and
Shrine. He was a 1959 graduate of Newton High School.
Other survivors include: two sons,
Larry Sommerville of California, and Jerry Sommerville of Overland
Park; three stepsons, Ronald Mcintyre and Jason Mcintyre, both of
Wichita and Craig Mcintyre of Albuquerque, N.M.; and four
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were today at Petersen
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Alden Dick from First Baptist
Church in Newton officiating. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery in
Newton.
Memorials have been established with
the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
