Victor J. Peters

HESSTON -- Victor J. Peters, 79, construction worker, died Monday (Nov. 8, 1999) at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.

He was born March 13, 1920, in Marion County to John E. and Bertha (Becker) Peters.

He was a member of Tabor Mennonite Church. He lived in Oklahoma, Idaho and Newton, moving to Hesston about one year ago.

Survivors include: one brother, Elmer Peters of Emporia; and three sisters, Ruth Fiedler of Wichita, Luella Dyck of Moundridge and Laura Foth of Newton.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home in Hesston with the Rev. Mary Dyck officiating. Burial will be in the Walton Cemetery.

Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials have been established with Schowalter Villa in Hesston in care of the funeral home.
