Douglas Dean Roach
Douglas Dean Roach, 39, 612 Columbus in
Newton, service department clerk for Davis Moore in Wichita, died
Friday (Nov. 26, 1999) at his residence.
He was born Nov. 9, 1960, in Newton to
Dean Edward and Lois Mae (Wood) Roach. His mother survives of Newton.
He married Janet Whitney Buss June 3, 1994, in Newton. She survives
of Newton.
He was a member of First Church of God
in Newton. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served as a
Lance Corporal E-3.
Other survivors include: one son,
Robert Roach of Newton; and two brothers, William Roach of Yucaipa,
Calif., and Kevin Roach of Newton.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m.
Tuesday at First Church of God with the Rev. James E. Pauley
officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Book signing will be until 5 p.m. today
at Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with
Central Homecare and Hospice or First Church of God in care of the
funeral home.
