Orville D. Fisher
WICHITA -- Orville D. Fisher, 74, died
Thursday (Jan. 6, 2000) at his residence in Wichita.
He was born Dec. 24, 1925, in Newton to
Ernst and Lola (Sensabaugh) Fisher. He married Marjorie Villar Feb.
23, 1952, in Wichita. She survives of Wichita.
He was a baker for Wonder Bread for 15
years and owner of Margie's Cafe in Wichita for 23 years.
He was a member of the U.S. Navy,
serving for nine years during World War II with a rank of CSSN.
He was an avid sports fan.
There were no other immediate
survivors.
He was preceded in death by his
parents.
Graveside services and burial will be
10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Newton with the
Rev. Floyd McKinney from Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church
officiating.
Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at
Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with
American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
