E. Joseph 'Joe' Blow
E. Joseph "Joe" Blow, 80, of
Newton, retired sales manager for Pepsi Cola, died Sunday (Jan. 9,
2000) at Newton Medical Center.
He was born April 4, 1919, in Sciota,
N.Y., to Elmer Joseph and Lucy (Charbonneau) Blow. He married
Margaret Marie Voltaw Dec. 25, 1942, in Ft. Wayne, Ind. She survives
of Newton.
He was a member of the American Legion
in Newton. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
There were no other immediate
survivors.
He was preceded in death by his
parents; one brother, Edward Blow; two sisters and one step sister.
Graveside services and burial will be 2
p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton with the Rev. James
Anderson from First Presbyterian Church in Newton officiating.
The casket will remain closed.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today
and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with
Sedgwick County Zoo or Harvey County Humane Society in care of the
funeral home.
