Lois Roberta Cole
ELMDALE -- Lois Roberta Cole, 71, died
Friday (Jan. 14, 2000) at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Funeral
service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home
Chapel in Newton. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday at
Broadway Colonial Funeral Home. Memorials have been established with
the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
Other service information will be
announced later by the funeral home.
Lois R. Cole
ELMDALE -- Lois R. Cole, 71, of
Elmdale, died Friday (Jan. 14, 2000) at Columbia Wesley Medical
Center.
She was born March 22, 1928, in Dill
City, Okla., to George Sims and Bobbie Booker (Harris) Rodgers. She
married Gary Norman May 15, 1968, in San Diego, Calif. He survives of
Elmdale.
She lived in Elmdale for six years. She
was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary in Emporia.
Other survivors include: three sons,
Lonny Stokes, Jerry Sims Stokes and Randy J. Stokes, all of Fort
Worth, Texas; two sisters, Joy Lucas and Billie Elkins, both of Fort
Worth, Texas; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her
parents.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday
at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Newton with the Rev. Jay
Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in
Newton.
Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at
the funeral home.
Memorials have been established with
American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
