Edna F. Gaeddert
Edna F. Gaeddert, 92, of North Newton,
died Wednesday (Feb. 23, 2000) at Kidron Bethel Health Care in North
Newton.
She was born Feb. 3, 1908, in Hooker,
Okla., to Abraham F. and Helen (Cornelsen) Regier. She married Albert
M. Gaeddert Aug. 7, 1932, at West Zion Mennonite Church in
Moundridge. He survives of North Newton.
She was a member of Hoffnungsau
Mennonite Church in Inman. She enjoyed reading, flowers and
gardening.
Other survivors include: one son, Dale
Gaeddert of Omaha, Neb.; two daughters, Kathryn Gaeddert of Newton
and Carol Burkhart of Lancaster, Pa.; six grandchildren; 12
great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m.
Monday at Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church in Inman with Pastor Dean
Linsenmyer officiating. Burial will be in the Hoffnungsau Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday and 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday with family greeting friends from 4
to 6 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with
Bethel College or Kidron Bethel Health Care in care of the funeral
home.
