Marie Solomon
Marie Solomon, 94, 507 E. Broadway,
died Friday (March 3, 2000) at Kansas Christian Home.
She was born Sept. 10, 1905, in Trego
County to Samuel and Ludwiga (Sauer) Glass. She married Robert
Solomon Oct. 8, 1938 ,in Ashland. He survives of the home. She was a
member of First Presbyterian Church in Newton.
She was preceded in death by a brother,
Sam Glass and two sisters, Freda Bunker and Hilda Glass.
Other survivors include two sisters,
Lucille Keller of Hays and Minnie Kennedy of Ellis.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m.
today and 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mt. Hope Cemetery in
Ellis.
Memorials have been established with
Kansas Christian Home and Fellowship of John and may be made in care
of Petersen Funeral Home.
