Frederick R. Hurst
BELLA VISTA -- Frederick R. Hurst, 88,
of Bella Vista died Friday (March 10, 2000) at Concordia Care Center.
He was born Nov. 14, 1911, in Kansas
City, Mo., the son of Ralph Hurst and Jetta Husson Hurst. He
graduated from the University of Missouri in 1933. He founded Hurst
Inc. in Kansas City, Mo., in 1956 and was a member of the Kansas
City, Mo., Rotary Club No. 13 for 37 years. He moved to Bella Vista
with his wife Helen in 1976. They were one of seven couples founding
the St. Theodores Episcopal Church in Bella Vista.
He is survived by his current wife
Mickey Bales Hurst of Bella Vista; one daughter, Marilyn Angel of
Prairie Village; three sons, James Hurst of Louisville, Ky., Robert
Hurst of Topeka and William Hurst of Houston; and three
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife Helen
and one son, Ralph.
Memorial services were at 1:30 p.m.
today at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Rogers. Internment will be
at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Cemetery in Newton. Cremation
arrangements are by Burns Funeral Home of Bentonville.
