Yohe, Delton

Delton Spencer Yohe, 88, Villa Park, California, died Monday, June 2,
2014, at University of California Irvine Medical Center, Orange,
California.
He was born March 18, 1926, in Elwood, Indiana, the
son of Azel Alexander and Helen Graham Yohe. He was a graduate of
Burrton High School and the University of Kansas, Lawrence, where he
received a bachelor of science in business, bachelor of laws and a Juris
Doctor. He spent two stints in the Army, once during World War II and again during the Korean War. He became a partner at Arthur Anderson & Company before retiring in 1981. On Jan. 29, 1949, he married Betty Clair Foster in Halstead. She passed on June 28, 2010, in Villa Park, California.
Survivors
include sons and daughter-in-laws, Tom and Nancy Yohe, Denver,
Colorado, John Yohe, and Liz Storto, Phoenix, Arizona, and Rob and
Madeline Yohe, Stilwell; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Tom
Logue, Burrton; brother and sister-in-law, David and Leana Yohe,
Mulvane; sister-in-law, Virginia Yohe, Garland, Texas; and seven
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be at
10 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
Procession to Burrton Cemetery will begin at 11 a.m. Graveside service
will begin at 11:30 a.m. Memorials may be given to the KU
Endowment Association in the name of D. Spencer Yohe to the Yohe Family
Memorial Fund, c/o KU Endowment, P.O. Box 928, Lawrence, KS 66044.
