   Roy Wayne Regier, 58, "Rippin Roy" from Car Buddies, "Rolaids" from Ashley Franklin, "Bone Crusher" from Gordon Regier, died May 22, 2014 a his home surrounded with loving family. Roy was born October 26, 1956 to Vernon and Hilda Woelk in Newton.  Roy worked at Bunting Magnetics as an assembler for almost 30 years.  He was an avid motor head.  He loved to work on his car a 1938 Chevy Coupe.  Every vacaion he took from work was to work on the car or the house, although that was not Teri's idea of a vacation.  He loved his family and friends and held them close to his heart, even though he didn't know how to show them.

   Teri, wife, and Mindy, niece, honored his wish of coming home and stayed byy his becside throughoout the last weeks, giving him hourly meds and taking care of him 24 hours a day.  Teri and Mindy would like to say a huge THANK YOU to  his Good Shepherd Hospice Team; Amanda Irving RN; Teri Tull, HHA; Bill Eichelberger, chaplain and Martha Szambecki, SWk and to all the others who came to help with visits.

   Roy was preceded in death by his mother, Hilda Woelk Regier.

   Survivors: wife, Teri Ann Regier, Newton; father, Vernon Regier, Hesston; sister, Joan (John) Rutledge, St. Louis, Mo: brother, Delbert (Wendy) Regier, Newton; daughter, Janee  (Jason) Denney, Olathe; four grandchildren.

   Visitation will be at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home on May 27 with Funeral Services at the funeral home on May 28, 2014. Memorials to the Center for Basic Canceer Resdarch, KSU.
