LaDonna Joan Smith, 76, died Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born July 17, 1937 in Dodge City, daughter of Ralph M. and Maggie R. Rupert Smith, Sr. The family moved toNewton in 1945. LaDonna graduated from Newton High School.
She had been the office manaager at Conklin Cars of Newton for severall years and had been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution; Credit Professionals International, and the Society of Certified Consumer Executives.
Survivors, brother, Raph Smith Jr. and his wife, Coke, of Newton; nnephews Mickey Smith, Phoenix, Arizona and Mitchell Smith of Newton. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be May 2014 at Restlawn Gardens of Memory near Newton. The casket will remain closed.
