Edwin Gorvin died June 6, 1914. He came to Harvey County in 1878. He was born in Branton England in 1827 and was one of eight chidren. He married at Newport, Monmouthshire in 1857 to Mary Weal. They had 6 children: Edwin, Charles, Mrs. E. G. Barros, Mrs. R. G. Jnes and Miss Sophia E. Gorvin. His wife passed away in 1908.
He came to Harvey County in 1878. His funeral was at his home and the Presbyterian Church.
