Vaughn L. ”Butch” Beaushaw 67, died Thursday, June 12, 2014
at Peabody Community Living Center in Peabody, Kansas. He was born
November 9, 1946 in Concordia, Kansas to Earl Vaughn and Margaurite
(Critchfield) Beaushaw. He married Carol K. Schmidt and she preceded
him in death on March 27, 2010. Butch was a machine operator for a road
construction company. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the
Eagles AERIE 2516 in Newton, Kansas where he served as past president.
Butch enjoyed riding Harley motorcycles and spending time with his
loving sisters and many friends.
He is survived by his sisters Caroline Riley and Myrna
Pulaski both of Newton, Kansas. He is also survived by several aunts and
uncles and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister Linda Jamison.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014 at
Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Denny Bell presiding.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home
Chapel. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, Kansas. Memorials are suggested to Fraternal Order of The Eagle AERIE 2515.
