Obituary

  Mrs. Jacob Dettweiler passed away at the ripe olld age of 82 at the home of her son-in-law, Dillman B. Hess in June of 1914.  She was born Eiizabety Jotter in Hemshof, Germany in 1832.  She maried Jacob Dettweileer in 1859, went to Summerfield, Illinois in 1871 and came to Halstead in 1874.

   She was the motherr of 13 children, six of whom died in infaancy.  She fell and had been bedfast since. January of 1913.

   Survivors: husband, Jacob Dettweiler; children; Mrs. D. B. Heess and A. H. Dttweileer, daughter living in Oregon and 3 sons in Oklahoma; Henry of Geary,Oklahoma  and John of Watonga,Oklahoma.
