Obituary

   Patience Miller Dunsworth of Valley Township, Reno County, died following an operation at the Halstead Hospital.  She was born at Medina County, Illinois in 1854 and died aged 49.  She married Edward Dunsworth in 1884.  She was an invalid for 15 years.

   Mrs. Dunsworth had been a resident of Halstead aboout 14 years ago, when Mr. Dunsworth was employed by as a tinner by W. C. Hinkle & Co.  She died at the Hospital about 7:00 o'clock Thursday evening following an operation on the previoous Saturday.  From the verey first, her case was a serious   one and the only hope for relief was the use of the surgeon's knife.  She rallied from the shock in fiine shape but her weakened condcitiionlleft but little too build upon with the resullt that death came as the time stated.

   Survivors: husband of the home; children; Josie Paden; Sarah Everett, Harold at home; mother in Illinois.  The funeral will be held at the home of W. E. Stone in Burrton.  Pall bearers were members of the Eastern Star.
