Cloyd, Kevin
Kevin Paul Cloyd, 28, died Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Newton Medical Center, Newton.
He was born Sept. 18, 1985, at Rochester, New York, to Steve and Debbie (Galitzdorfer) Cloyd; they survive at Halstead. He
was an electrical apprentice at Dore Electric, was a member of the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, both of Wichita. He
formerly worked at Kansas Electric, Newton. On June 20, 2009, he married Jessica Lee Carter at Halstead, and she survives at Halstead.
Other
survivors include brothers, Kyle Cloyd, Halstead, Christopher Cloyd,
Buxton, Maine, John O'Meara, Henrietta, New York; maternal grandmother,
Carol Galitzdorfer, Lima, New York; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends
may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at Kaufman Funeral
Home, Halstead. The family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at
Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, with Pastor Tony D'Olio officiating.
Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Kevin Cloyd Fund at the Halstead Bank. Arrangements by Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
