Obituary

Hilton S. Clausen, 93, died Aug. 18, 2014, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 7, 1920, to Soren and Ruth Hill Clausen at Hesper, North Dakota. He was a supervisor at the Bradbury Company. He was married to Clara H. Liudahl on March 3, 1945, at Maddock, North Dakota.

Survivors include his wife, Clara H. Clausen, rural Newton; son, James (Kimberly) Clausen, Cherokee; daughter, Eileen Schrag, Moundridge; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at 10:15 a.m. Thursday in the Garden Community Church Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Garden Community Church, rural Moundridge. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m., with the family present from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Moundridge Funeral Home.  Memorial donations are suggested to Gentiva Hospice or Frank and Kathy King and Slato Biblical Ministries Worldwide, 1595 Herrington Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30043.
