Terry F. Wenzel, 58, city of Halstead maintenance worker and cemetery sexton, died Saturday, July 5, 2014 at his residence after a short hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born June 20, 1956 in Goodland, to Robert and Betty Jo Camren Wenzel. He was a member of First Christian Churh, Newton and served in the U. S. Navy.
Survivors: son; Manuel Wenzel of Home; daughters; Coleen (John) Werner, Halstead; Jessica (Craig) Eagan, Llake Panasofflkes, Florida ; father, Robert (Elda) Wenzel, Bella Vista, Arkansas; mother; Bette Jo Wenzel of Mt. Hope;brothers; Rick (Carmen) Wenzel, Kechi; Steve (Betty )Bell, Mobile, Alabama; sister, Vicki (Frank( Baker, Wichita and 6 grandchildren.
Services will be 10:00 Wednesday, July 9 at First Christian Church, Newton. Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery, Halstead.
