Mrs. Senaida Pineda, 76, of Loraine, Texas, formerly of Newton, died July 8, 2014 at her daughter's residence in Texas. Services will be July 10 in the Kiker-Seale Chapel in Texas and Burial will be Saturday, July 12, 2014 in the Greenwood cemetery in Newton.
Mrs. Pineda was born March 30, 1938 in Bastrop, Texas to Enrique and Adella Galvan Castillo and was a longtiime resident of Newton. She married Arturo Pineda onJune 5, 5965. He preceded her in death on August 30, 2010. she was a homemakeer and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors: daughter, Angela (Dell) Haltom of Lorraine; five sons; Andrew Pineda, Newton; Saul (Elaine) of Wolf City, Texas; Johnny (Carolyn) of Tennessee; Artie (Jenifer) of Indiana; Ricky (Teresea) of Abilene; two brother, Henry Casstillo, Colorado City and Tony Castillo of Big Spring; two sisters; Connie Garcia, Diviine, Texas and Esperanza Davila of Odessa; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
