Obituary

   Williaam Roy Mark, young son of Mr. & Mrs. J. V. Mark met suddden death under a load of  hay at the farm seven miles southwest of townh.  The ten yeaar old had been playing about a wagon which ws being loaded with alfalfa hay and he had been hanging on the reach which connects rear gear with the front gear.  When the team was ordered it is thought Willie fell and the rear wheel ran onto his body.  The boy waas carried to the house, but breathed his last before Dr.  Howard could arrive.  Itt is thought his back may  have been broken.

   Funeral ws at home and burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
