Obituary

Alvin D. (Boo) Kaufman, 61, formerly of Moundridge, was found shot to death Friday at Baton Rouge, La.  Born July 21, 1916 at Moundridge, he married Bonnie Kennedy.  She died May 5, 1969.  He was a civil engineer and lived in Baton Rouge for many years.

He was a member of the Broadmoore Methodist Church; the Society of Civil Engineers, both of Baton Rouge; veterans of World War II.

Survivors:  sons: Bradford, New Iberia, La; Barry, Wilmette, Ill.; Frederick, Lafayette, La.; brothers: Clinton, Wichita; Waldo, Moundridge; Clemens, Gainesvile, Fla.: sister: Linda Kaufman, Moundridge; five grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery, Newton; the Rev. Jon Jones.
