Obituary

   Jacob Strouse, 82, whose home was about 4 miles north of Alta Mills, died at the Hospital Wednesday, August 12.  He had been operated and large quanities of cherrry seeds, quarts of them were removed fro his intestiines, but gangene had set in and his case was  hopeless one.  He was was the wealthiest occupant of a farm in either Harvey or McPerson Counties, being worth close to a half million dollars.

  He is survived by a widow and a large family of grown children.

  Remains were prepared for burial by M. E. Ceatum and taken to the late home in an automobile which has been specially prepared by Mr. Cheatum for that purpose.
