Fred Soth died at his home in Riverside Addition at midnight, Tuesday, November 19, after an illness of a number of weeks. He met with an accident during the summer falling from a load of hay and sustained injuries from which he never fully recovered, although he was able too come down town about a month ago,
He was about 65 years of age and leaves a widow and several grown children, none of whom were living at home.. Mrs. Will Bard of San Bernardino, California is a daughter and arrived here a few days prior to his death.
The Soth family came here from Newton about 3 years ago and purchased the Maria Waters property which they greatly improved.
Funeral services were held Friday morning from the Catholic Church in Newton of which the deceased was a member.
