Voth, Ronald

Ronald Voth, 61, breathed his last breath in the arms of his wife,
LouAnn, Monday, September 22, 2014 after a yearlong battle with cancer.
He died as he lived-peacefully. He was surrounded by his two sons, Derek
and Trenton. Trenton's wife, Stephanie, joined later.
He was born in
Goessel, KS, November 21, 1952 to Charley and Lillian Voth. He graduated Tabor College, 1975, with a BA in
Chemistry, obtained his Medical Technology training at St. Francis
Regional Medical Center, and in 1986, completed a Master of Health
Science Degree from WSU. He worked as a Medical Technologist for
Hertzler Clinic for 16 years, and then became Laboratory Manager at
Halstead Hospital in 1992. In 2000, he moved to Wesley Medical Center in
hemotology and flow cytometry. But the central aspect of his life was
his dedication to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, which he
expressed in issues of justice, truth, and peace, and as a member of
Koerner Heights Mennonite Brethren Church in Newton, KS.
His mother
survives him as well as his brother, Steven and wife Wynette, Walton,
and sister, Jana and husband Mike Voth, Wichita, along with 10 nieces
and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Koerner Heights Church, Newton, Friday, the 26th, 5-8 pm. Funeral services at Alexanderwohl Church, Goessel, Saturday, the 27th, 2 pm with burial and meal following. In
lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Mennonite Central Committee,
Mennonite Disaster Service, Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary, or Tabor
College, in care of the Moundridge Funeral Home, P.O. Box 410,
Moundridge, KS 67107.
