Stowell, Lyle
Lyle Stowell, 74, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at his daughter's home in rural Whitewater.
Lyle was born on Dec. 5, 1939, in Vermillion, to William and Lois Stowell. Lyle was a retired machinist from Eaton Hydraulics, spending 38 years in the cylinder manufacturing plant, Hutchinson. He
enjoyed spending time outside, fixing things, maintaining the landscape
around his home, hunting and fishing. Lyle loved spending time with his
wife, kids and grandkids. He served them relentlessly out of love.
He
is survived by his wife, Connie Stowell; children: son, Todd Stowell
and wife, Jodi; daughter, Ronda Beougher and husband, Tim; and also
survived by brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Shelbie Toevs and
husband, Jason, Courtney Unruh and husband, Adrian, Bailey and Brynnah
Stowell, and Luke, Levi, Laci and Josie Beougher. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lois Stowell, and several siblings.
A
memorial service is scheduled for Saturday (October 11, 2014) at 10:30 a.m., at
the First Missionary Church in Newton. A public visitation will be held
from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday (Oct. 10, 2014) at the First Missionary Church, with
the family present. A memorial has been established for Heartland Haven Assisted Living, 1345 Cherokee Rd., Inman, KS 67546. Petersen Family Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
