Obituary

Larry Allen Funk, 68, died September 29, 2014 at Asbury Park in Newton.

He was born February 5, 1946 to Allen and Leona (Wiens) Funk in Hillsboro.  He was a Electronics and HVAC Technician, and co owner of Funks Supply in Hillsboro.

Survivors include: sons, Sam (Michele) Funk of Cincinnati, Ohio, Chad Funk of Hillsboro; daughter, Cassandra (Larry) Loutzenhiser of Lyons; brothers, Lester (Donna) Funk of Marion, Ron Funk of Hillsboro; sisters, Joyce (Lee) Ediger of Moundridge, Jeanette (Dan) Schaefer of Hillsboro; 4 grandchildren.  Predeceased by his brother, Delbert Funk in 2010.

Celebration of Life service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2014 at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro officiated by Pastor Susan Jantzen.  Family will receive guests from 5 to 7 Thursday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.  Memorials to Disabled American Veterans or Good Shepherd Hospice in care of Jost Funeral Home P.O.
