M. (Spangler) Grosse passed away on Oct. 21, 2014, at Kansas
Christian Home in Newton.
Rose was born on May 12, 1933, in Elbing, Kansas to Joe and
Vevia (Brock) Spangler, She served as a grade school cook for 37 years.
She
is survived by sons, Harvey L. Grosse of Peabody, Robert D. Grosse of
Andover, and Ray C. Grosse of Newton; daughter, Peggy Penner of Newton;
brother, Steve (wife, Betty) Ford of Peabody; and sister, Fern Stovall
of Newton. She also has six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and
one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by spouse, Harvey Grosse in 1991, and parents, Joe and Vevia Spangler.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday,
Oct. 24, at Kansas Christian Home in Newton, with Denny Bell
officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Memorials may be designated to Kansas Christian Home of Newton. Baker Funeral Home of Peabody is in charge of arrangements.
