Lynn A. Maberry Sr., 59, died on Sunday, March 18, 2012, at Kansas Christian Home in Newton.
He was born on April 10, 1952, in Newton to Clel and Loretta (Foster) Maberry.
Lynn is survived by two sons, Lynn A. Maberry Jr. of Newton and Benjamin Maberry, also of Newton; his mother, Loretta Maberry of Newton; two brothers, Ronald Maberry of El Dorado and Larry Maberry of Hutchinson; and two sisters, Joyce Alexander and Tammie Moore, both of Newton. He also is survived by one granddaughter. Lynn was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Johnny Maberry; and one sister, Cathy Quiring.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday (March 23, 2012) at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain Denny Bell presiding. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Newton. Memorials are suggested to Kansas Christian Home, in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
