Obituary

Marjean A. Davison, 69, retired banker, passed from her earthly life on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at her home in Halstead.

She was born on July 25, 1945, in Newton to Johnnie and Margaret (Humiston) Bisoni. She married Gary M. Davison on Sept. 4, 1965, in Halstead. They were married for 49 years. Gary survives in the home.  Marjean was in the banking business for 38 years. She retired in 2005. She was a member of the Halstead United Methodist congregation, where she served as President and Treasurer for many years. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and Helianthos II of Halstead.

Marjean was a 1963 graduate of Halstead High School and received her Associates Degree from Salt City Business College in Hutchinson. She was a resident of Peabody for three years before returning to Halstead. She loved and enjoyed her children, grandchildren and watching all of their sporting events. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and serving as a volunteer for various causes.

She is survived by a son, Michael and Tiffany Davison of Halstead; daughter, Sandra and Brad Rippelmeyer of Columbia, Illinois; two brothers, Ray Alan (Pam) Bisoni of Roy Utah and Danny (Faye) Bisoni of Newton; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Margaret Bisoni; sister, Connie Ruth Bisoni; and brother, David J. Bisoni.

A celebration of her life will be at 10 a.m. at the Halstead United Methodist Church, Saturday, Nov. 1. A visitation is scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m., with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 31, at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel.
